Thanksgiving

Make a scarecrow, bake “manna” wafers, and hear how God provided for the Israelites when they were “pilgrims” journeying to a new land. You can use this lesson in connection with Thanksgiving, or at any time of year.

The activities in this lesson on Thanksgiving are designed to help kids:

  • develop a grateful attitude
  • remember to thank God and others
  • trust God to provide everything they need
  • grow in joyfulness and praise.

In addition, this lesson helps address ungratefulness, greed, self-pity and complaining.
