Memory verses

Memorizing Scripture with your children helps God’s Spirit bring about lasting change. Choose a verse your kids can learn in a pre-determined period of time and review the verse at least once every day.

Psalm 37:7 “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.”

Proverbs 14:29 “A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.”

Proverbs 15:18 “A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel.”

Proverbs 16:32 “Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.”
