Memory verses

Memorizing Scripture with your children helps God’s Spirit bring about lasting change. Choose a verse that your children can learn in a pre-determined period of time and aim to review the verse at least once every day.

Psalm 141:3 “Set a guard over my mouth, Oh Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”

Proverbs 3:31-32 “Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, for the Lord detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence.”

Proverbs 15:1 “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
